LYRICS

WALKED AWAY    by   DOUG ROCKS

Our Countries were the best of friends
We stuck together through thick and thin
Since the enemy attacked our land
You haven't been there to lend a hand

You turned your head and looked away
You turned your head the other way

YOU TURNED YOUR HEAD AND LOOKED AWAY
YOU TURNED YOUR BACK AND WALKED AWAY
YOU LOOKED AND LAUGHED THEN WALKED AWAY
I HEARD YOU LAUGH AS YOU WALKED AWAY

Every Single time
Every single time

Every time I see your face
I see how you despise my race
Your hatred brought this war to me
NOW I CANNOT SLEEP , I CANNOT BREATHE
I CAN'T BREATHE

I think I'm not a prejudice man
I try to tolerate when I can
Its very hard to control my rage
When terrorists attack my land

You turned your head and looked away
You turned your head the other way

YOU TURNED YOUR HEAD AND LOOKED AWAY
YOU TURNED YOUR BACK AND WALKED AWAY
YOU LOOKED AND LAUGHED THEN WALKED AWAY
I HEARD YOU LAUGH AS YOU WALKED AWAY

Every Single time
Every single time

Every time I see your face
I see how you despise my race
Your hatred brought this war to me
NOW I CANNOT SLEEP , I CANNOT BREATHE
I CAN'T BREATHE

Every gadam time
Every gadam time

LYRICS

CAN YOU HEAR IT     by    DOUG ROCKS

Standing before you
A disaffected man
They denied him freedom
And opportunity
He's just a whipping boy
To his Dictator
Listen closely now

Can you hear the wind is changing
Can you hear the wind is changing

CAN YOU HEAR IT
CAN YOU HEAR IT
CAN YOU HEAR IT
CAN YOU HEAR IT

Do you bow down
To your oppressor
Or will you stand up
And be the aggressor
Desperate times
Need desperate measures
Listen closely now

Can you hear the wind is changing
Can you hear the wind is changing

CAN YOU HEAR IT
CAN YOU HEAR IT
CAN YOU HEAR IT
CAN YOU HEAR IT

The time has come
To rise up now
To take it back
And make it right
Unconditional surrender
Is in your sight
The battle's brewing
Must be fought tonight

Can you hear it now

LYRICS

RISE ABOVE   by    DOUG ROCKS

Sorcerers of deception
Gods of destruction
We call on you for this mission
We ask for total submission

Rise Above
My disaffected followers
Chanted the
High Holy Man

Rise Above
My disaffected followers
Chanted the
High Holy Man

Don't worry if you hurt them
Don't worry if you end them
Don't worry if they kill you
In dying you'll be sacred

Rise Above
My disaffected followers
Chanted the
High Holy Man

Rise Above
My disaffected followers
Chanted the
High Holy Man

Do not ask any questions
Just carry out your mission
The Holy prize is waiting
For you on completion

Rise Above
My disaffected followers
Chanted the
High Holy Man

Rise Above
My disaffected followers
Chanted the
High Holy Man

Rise Rise Rise

-----------------------------------------------

This might be the first time a song has been released like this. With a guitar synthesizer pickup on my electric guitar, which I used to trigger the drum machines and synthesizers, all the drum shots, synth and bass notes were played simultaneously, on my guitar. Everything was recorded simultaneously, all in the same take, to 12 tracks on my 16 track, multitrack recorder. And just to keep things a little bit on the unusual side, I tuned the guitar and synth to the Holy, controversial and mystical A432hz tuning, for Rise Above.

Can You Hear It and Walked Away, were recorded the same way but in A440 tuning.

This is the first song released from an upcoming concept album.
